According to this particularly inane rant highlighted on the DrudgeReport today written by blogger David Roberts, Audi’s ‘Green Police’ ad played during the Super Bowl was not a satirical statement on the eco-Nazi’s, but actually an add that only makes sense if Audi believes and the audience agreed that the green police have ‘moral authority’.
It never ceases to amaze how people can rationalize anything.
For fun, let's replace ‘Green Police’ with ‘Gestapo’ and re-run the ad through our heads.
The ad details a group of self righteous, establishment empowered, quasi police arresting and detaining people for the mere appearance of not supporting the establishment orthodoxy. An orthodoxy based on fantasy, doctored evidence and myths.
The parallel even carries to the end of the ad where the ‘Green Police’ exhibit authority over the actual police, just like in Nazi Germany.
It’s obvious that the ad MOCKS people like David Brooks, and their silly little religion of Man Made Global Warming. It mocks the very notion that a light bulb or plastic bag makes an iota of difference, except to their religion and EnviroPope Algore I.
Not surprisingly, David Roberts is actually so mentally dysfunctional that he believes criticism is support, and satire is a compliment.
I suppose in his world this article means that I give him ‘moral authority’, too. Well, just let me make it clear for him:
I think you are a stupid silly little man living in his mommy’s basement pleasuring himself to the guy in the back row on mommy’s old Jane Fonda workout videos. You have the moral authority, mental capacity, and physical appearance of Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons.

“David Brooks. Worst blogger, ever.”
Was that clear enough for you?
Good, now order some more pizza and fire up the VCR.
